First Leaked Images of Milly Alcock as Supergirl Revealed

According to cinemadrame News Agency, Filming for “Supergirl,” starring Milly Alcock, began last January, and behind-the-scenes images had already leaked. Warner Bros. hadn’t officially unveiled the Australian actress’s look in the role until this Sunday when makeup artist Lindsey Macalister posted two images of Alcock on Instagram. These pictures were deleted after a few minutes but were quickly re-shared. Alcock had previously mentioned that filming for the project concluded in June.

“Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow,” directed by Craig Gillespie and written by Ana Nogueira, is based on Tom King’s comics and focuses on the character of Kara Zor-El, Superman’s cousin.

Matthias Schoenaerts as Krem, Jason Momoa as Lobo, David Krumholtz and Emily Beecham as Supergirl’s parents, and Eve Ridley as Ruthye Marye Knoll are among the other actors in this film produced by James Gunn.

James Gunn, whose film “Superman” just had a $220 million opening weekend, told Screen Rant that Supergirl in this movie is a “slovenly” girl, remarking on the leaked images: “She has a completely different background than Superman. A very different background.”

“Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow” is scheduled for release on June 26, 2026.
